Chapter 30: I Could Write A Couple Lines

Pauline walked down the stairs after she put to bed PJ and Kevin. It's only had been a few days ago when they announced their loved ones that they're getting married this summer. They both prefered July because this year Stevie, Stephanie's son, starts his first year at school and Romeo has to leave for Connecticut where Yale Universtity is. And because of that they both said end of July will be the best possible date.

Pauline walked in the kitchen and saw Jesse sitting on the kitchen table with his laptop turned on in front fo him. "What are you looking at?" she asked him. "I'm looking for the best wedding package for Hawaii. I've found some hotels which also provides wedding packages. This one is my favourite." Jesse told her and moved his head so she can take a look herself.

"Oh my God! Jesse that's really beautiful! I can imagine the view." Pauline answered with her eyes rolled as she moved the chair and shut next to him. "Do they have a package too?" Pauline asked. "Yeah they have these for 2022." Jesse answered and scrolled won the page to where the wedding packagies were listed. Pauline and Jesse saw three packagies based on the number of the guests. They both were thinking the same thing: They had no idea how many guests they wanted to invite. 

"Do you thinking what i'm thinking?" Jesse asked her. "I'll go get paper and a pen." Pauline said and stood up from the chair. She returned a few seconds later. "Okay, i don't want many guests. It will be hard to travel all the way to Hawaii, since we don't have an another option." Pauline told him as she shut next to him. 

"Me too. I was thinking about max 50." Jesse answered and moved more to his left so she could write down. She's left handed and she was writting in a way that always made Jesse laugh. He's right handed and he always found the way left handed people were holding the pen a little funny. 

"So we got 4 my family and 4 yours." Pauline said and write it down. "Stephanie 3. Cody 3." Jesse added. "Richie and Ava 6 together." she wrote it down. "Uncle Matt and Tony 4. I don't think my cousins can leave New Jersey because of their work." Jesse said. "Yeah, you're right about that. So, write 4 just be sure." Pauline answered. 

"Now, we have uncle David and Tico. That's a 7 no doupt." Jesse said and looked at the paper which was almost half filled with names and numbers. "And last but not least Melina 2 and Maria 3." Pauline said and curcled the number of 37 guests. "So, 37 guest." Jesse said  and shut back on his chair. 

"Yeah. We should called them. It's very nice hotel and i don't want someone else got the date before us." Pauline told him while she was searcing with her eyes the phone. Only to find it right in front of her been held by Jesse's palm. "You call them." he told her. "You're better with words." he added. "Okay, but i'll put on speaker." Pauline ansswered and start tupring the number.

She looked at Jesse next to her and before she even knew it a woman had picked it up. "Pacific Beach Hotel, how can i help you?" the woman on the other line said. "Hey, i want to tell me some information i need for the wedding packagies you're providing." Pauline started a little hesisated. "Yes, of course. Do you have any package on your mind?" the woman asked. "No, we don't. But i see here that seperate the packages based on the number of the guests. We have 37 guests and we'll really love that package. I'm reading now the options of the menu and i'm getting hungry." Pauline answered and heard the woman laugh with her too.

"I think you should talk with mrs Christensen. She's in control of all of the weddings. I'm passing you to her right now. Thank you and enjoy your day!" the unknown woman told them before she hung up the phone. 

Pauline looked at Jesse and said "Let's wait and see." Jesse looked back at her smiled. "Hey!" an another woman answer the phone. "Hello." Pauline started but the woman had already spoken. "Mrs Conah had informed that you're looking for some wedding packagies is that correct?" "Yeah, that's right." Pauline answered. "Alright then let's get started. First, the date." "We're thinking about 23th of July?" she asked a little scared of a negative answer. 

"23th of July it's really a nice day. How many guests?" "We've 37 guests. And right now i'm looking the package up to 30 guests and i was wonding if we could book this one." Pauline looked at Jesse who nodded at her making sure he likes this package too. "Since it's only for 7 guests i think we can do something about that too." the woman answered. "That will be really great. We appreciate very much my future husband and i." Pauline told her.

"Give me a second to write this down. Can you please your names?" "Sure. It's Jesse and Pauline Bongiovi." Pauline answered smiling. She loved the way it sounds "Pauline Bongiovi Timson. Yep that's my name!"  she thought to herself a spare momment. "You said Bongiovi?" "Yeah, that's my fiance's last name. Is there any problem? Do you want me to spell it?" Pauline asked back.

"No no! I know how to write it. It's just a think you'll never understand." "Don't worry about that mrs Christensen. I'm a fan too." Pauline finally answered as Jesse sighed. "Yes, i know mrs Bongiovi. But we have a wedding to organise here and start a Jovi chatt will not help at all." mrs Christensen answered and laughed with Pauline for a couple of seconds. 

"Let's back to work! So, about the menu what are you thinking?" "We're thinking about the 'Farm to Table' with entree braised beef short ribs with cabernet thyme sauce." Pauline said. "Very nice choise." mrs Christensen answered and wrote those down. "Now, the whole thing with 37 guests will cost you 9,620 USD." "And with the rooms?" Pauline asked. "That depense on you. But i can book you rooms for 120 per night regadless who many guests will stay in each room." the woman said. 

Pauline looked at Jesse who nodded one more time. "Yeah, i think we can do that. We want 13 rooms. And it if it's possible the 2 of them must have cribs, we'll need three cribs in total." Pauline answered back. "That's not a problem. We will call you tommorow or the day after for more details. I"ll call on this number?" "Yeah." Pauline answered. "Okay. Thank you for your choise i'm sure you will not regrate it." mrs Christensen answered and hunged up the phone.

Pauline was listening to that annoyied sound that Skype was making when you're calling someone. "I told her 9.30 to be there." Pauline said to Jesse who was standing next to her. "She's here. She never misses a call from you since she moved to Tokyo." Jesse answered. "Yeah, you're right." Pauline said and looked back at the laptop and saw that Malina had answered.

"Hellooo to beautiful New Jersey!I hope it doesn't rain there too. Where are the boys? I want to see them. Pauline i saw the picture you send me a few hours ago. Man you too make beautiful babies!" Melina said with one breathe that on Greek. They always talked in Greek. They are still greek even though they have different nationality now. Jesse was looking at Melina with his eyes wide open. He didn't get a word from what she just said.

"Hello Jesse. How are you doing?" she asked him now in English. "I'm pretty good thank you." Jesse answered. Melina looked at Pauline who was keep looking at her. "Oh i know that look. Tell me. NOW!" Melina demanded. "Have you checked your e-mails recently?" Pauline told her. Melina could feel that something was going on. She knew it from the sound of her voice that somehting was up, but she didn't know what.

"No, i haven't. Why?" Melina asked them back. "You should check it." Jesse answered. Melina was looking at them with a weird look on her face. The connection wasn't that good and she couldn't see their faces as clear as she wanted to. Melina took her phone in her hands. She sighed in and an e-mail from Pauline popped up on the screen. Melina looked up and them. 

She opened the e-mail and read out loud "I hope your boss will gives a few days to maid of honors." Melina was still trying to understand what she had just read and without even knowing it she opened the picture that was under of the words. It was their wedding invitation. 

Her eyes rolled as she read it. "Oh my God!" she creamed on Greek and Pauline laughed. "Do you want to be my maid of honor?" Pauline asked her while she was keep looking at them. "Of course and i do. I will not miss your wedding!" Melina answered and start laughing. She couldn't believe it. It was the fourth time she had read the invitation and still couldn't believe what her eyes were watching. 

"Oahu, Hawaii? You couldn't find anything closer to New Jersey?" Melina asked them with her eyebrows raised. "Is the only state that allows couples with different religion to get married. So, we didn't have many options." Jesse explained to her. "Oh i see." Melina answered. "Have you picked up a dress and a suit yet?" Melina asked a few seconds later.

"No. But i don't think will be that hard. It's a beach wedding and i think a nice white dress will be great. Plus, we need to find some nice clothes for PJ and Kevin too." Pauline said. "White dress. I think i can find a very nice white dress. We'll be dressed on white?" Melina asked. She wanted to know what their plans were in order to find the best possible dress to where, she's the maid of honor after all. 

"We haven't talked about that yet. We only know the place, the time, the guests and the song." Jesse answered. "Which song?" Melina asked curious as always. "Always." Pauline answered and smiled. "Rihanna's new hit? Do you really think that this song is the best wedding song you can come up with?" "Why everybody thinks it's this Always?" Jesse asked and looked at Pauline. 

"My Dad said the same thing when we told them." Jesse added and looked at the camera. "Is not that Always right?" "Nope. It's the bands. I don't really know why they offered to play it live. I CD will work as fine." Pauline answered. "Eh hello! Because it's you are getting married and they want to be more passionate than a cold CD?" Melina said from the other part of the world. 

"Maybe. But just this one. They should enjoy the wedding too." "Pauline they'll play just this song for you! I think that's very nice of them." Melina said. "Yeah, you're right." she answered and looked at her best friend who was half a world away. 

Chapter 29: All About Lovin' You

Jesse was laying on the bed from his side. He was resting his head on his palm while he was watching PJ and Kevin just sitting there trying to crawl. It was the best scene Jesse could ever watch. Watching his children growing up every day. He was enjoying it and he wanted to be more at home than on trainnings or somewhere in the world playing football. And when he was away all he was thinking were these two. They were only three months old and they have changed everything.

Pauline walked in the bedroom and saw the three of them laying on the bed. She smiled. "Time to nap already?" Jesse asked a little unhappy. He wanted to spend more time with them. "Yeah, sorry Jesse. But look at their eyes, they are tiried." Pauline answered and took Kevin in her arms. For her suprise Kevin smiled at her while he was looking at her with his light blue eyes.

"Come on buddy time to sleep." she told him and walked out of the bedroom. Jesse followed with PJ. When Jesse and PJ walked in the nursery Pauline had already put Kevin in his crib. Jesse did the same. He fixed the covers and kissed his foarhead. Before he left the room he turned the mic on just in case something happen to them.

Jesse walked down the stairs and found Pauline sitting on the couch watching TV. Jesse shut next to her. Pauline didn't look at him. She was still watching that movie which doesn't even knew the plot. Jesse looked at her and sighed. He knew why she was behaving like that. It was his fault and they both knew that.

"I want to talk about something." he finally broke the silence. "What about?" she asked back without facing him. "About our wedding." he said before he shallowed hard. "What about our wedding?" Pauline asked and looked at him. "I was thinking about it on my way back from the Stadium. I think we should find some possible dates first." Jesse answered.

"Alright then." Pauline simply answered. "I was thinking about 23th of July." he told her when she looked again at the TV. "Works for me. And probably for most of the guests." Pauline answered. She knew what Jesse was trying to do. She wanted to talk about her wedding with him more than anything in the world right now. But she was still mad at him, even though she forgave him that day doesn't mean she forgot what he had done.

Jesse was sitting next to her watching her close. He knew she was mad at him. He couldn't blame her. Even though he was trying to stop drinking that much, he couldn't do it all at once. He was taking one step at a time but he kinda walking alone on this one. Pauline is too buzy with the twins she barely has time to take a long bath or go out of the house.

Pauline stood up and turned off the TV. "I'll go to sleep. I have to feed the boys in 5 hours." she said and checked if the alarm on her phone was activated. "Okay." Jesse answered from the couch and watched walking up the stairs.

He was sitting there all alone with his thoughts creating a mess on his head. He knew she was tiried, more tiried than he couldn't even think about. But they were talking about their wedding. Their wedding that they both wanted since they were in High School. She made it clear to him a few days ago when she emptyied every single bottle of vodka in the house. He had promised her not to buy an another one and of course don't drink.

He had made that promise in the name of PJ and Kevin. He will stop drinking to much for them. He didn't want his kids remembering him like who was gone and drunk the most of the times. He wanted to be the best possible father, he knew it was hard but all he has to do is try.

Jesse stood up and walked up the stairs. He stopped in front of the nersury to see if the boys were sleeping peacefully, like they were. Leaving his sleeping sons behind he entered the master bedroom. Pauline was there probably sleeping. Jesse shut on the bed looking over at the view of the river from the balcony.

He was so lost in looking the night view and when Pauline placed her hand gently on his back he jumped. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." she almost whispered. Jesse turned around and faced her. "Why are you crying?" he asked her while he touched her face with his left palm. "Because i'm been so cruel to you downstairs. You wanted to talk about our wedding which is one of the best things we can do. And all i did was ignore you." Pauline told him.

Jesse looked at the tear rolling down her cheek. He moved closer to her and hugged her. "Don't worry about that. I deserve it." Jesse answered and he wraped his arms around her. He kissed her. "We'll talk about it tommorow before my training, okay?" he looked down at her and she nodded. "Now, go to sleep." Jesse ordered her and kissed her goodnight.

PJ and Kevin were wearing the best clothes they had as their parents. Pauline was wearing a black dress and Jesse a nice pair of pants with a matching shirt. It was New Year's Eve and they were invited at the Sambora house to celebrate the new year and Tori's birthday. 

"We have everything right?" Jesse asked as he locked the door. "Yeah, i got food a dozen of diapersnand everything they'll even need." Pauline answered and opened the door of the car to take her of the twins. The boys were all readyand Jesse pulled over of the drive way. 

"We'll tell them tonight?" Jesse asked at some point. "Yeah, why not? New year, something to wait for 7 months." Pauline answered and looked at him. "And your parents?" "They'll come over with Zeta tommorow and i'll tell them then." Pauline answered. "That's good. I'm looking forwoard to that day." Jesse smiled. 

"We have 7 months babe. At least we booked a nice hotel with a great view." "Pauline every hotel in Hawaii has a great view. You should ask uncle Richie about that. he had stayied in every hotel in Oahu. He knews better that us." Jesse answered. "You're right about that." Pauline said and paused. "I must e-mail the invitations to Melina and Maria tommorow." "You should. Call them on Skype it will be better to see how they'll react." Jesse said and laughed. 

"I just hope Maria doesn't pass out. And of curse if they can make it to Hawaii that will be awesome. I missed her wedding i don't want to miss mine too." Pauline answered and looked at the backseat. PJ and Kevin were looking outside of the window probably wandering where they were going. When Pauline turned back again she said. "We should book tickets for the plane also for all of us." "We don't need that." "Are we going on foot to Hawaii?" Pauline aksed back with raised her eyebrow. "Why are you always forget the Jovi Jet i will never understand." Jesse answered and looked for a second at her. 

"Oh yeah right. The Jovi Jet. It can fit us all right?" "Sure and it can. We'll take the new one, it's bigger." Jesse informed her. He had travelled with every single one across the world and he loved them all since he was a boy. "It will be nice." Pauline answered and tryied to imagine that day.

Moments later they had arrived at the Sambora house. Everything was set for dinner. Benjamin, PJ and Kevin were playing with their toys in the part of the living room that Richie had made for them. Stevie was being Stevie and he was running around or he was watching his three cousins play. Everybody else was sitting on the big enough table to fit them all.

They all raised their glasses and wished Tori happy birthday. "Should we tell them now or on the next year?" Pauline whispered to Jesse who laughed. Only three more hours and they'll welcome 2022 with open arms. "Next year will be better. You know to welcome the new year with great news." Jesse whispered back. "Yeah, you're right about that." Pauline answered and took a bite of her food. "Hey why are you too whispering?" Ava asked them. "Because we can." Jesse answered and laughed with almost everyone on the room.

"I want to tell you all something." Romeo started and waited until everyone was looking at him. "What is it Romeo?" Dorothea asked her youngest son a little suprised. "I got an e-mail from Yale School of Architecture a few days ago." Romeo added and looked Pauline in the eyes. "Pauline the letter you wrote made them change their minds and they want me!" he told her with a smile.

Pauline rolled her eyes as Romeo finished. "Congratulations Romeo! You deserve it. I knew you're going to make it!" Pauline yold him and smiled. "This letter was really touching." Romeo answered back. "I know. That was the letter i wrote to get into College and from what it seems it doesn't lost its glory." Pauline answered and watched everybody gongratulate Romeo. She couldn't feel more proud of him.

Pauline was sitting next to Jesse while they were all waiting for the change o the year. "After the change we tell them. I can't wait." Jesse whispered to her ear. Because of thr music and the people who were talking it will be hard for Pauline to listen to him if he didn't whisper. "Okay." Pauline answered and looked up at Tori who said something but they didn't hear it. 

They all gathered around the hostages of this evening to chnage the year all together. They all start looking at their watches in their hands as they started the countdown. "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. HAPPY NEW YEAR!" they all said outloud when the clock start tocking on January 1st of 2022. 

"Happy new year babe." Pauline told Jesse and kissed him for the first time this year. "Happy new year sweetheart." Jesse answered back and kissed her lightly. "It's going to be a good one, don't you think?" Jesse asked when he broke the kiss. "Sure it is. Let's greet everyone else now." she answered with a smile.

Just a few minutes later and everybody was looking at pauline and Jesse. They both could hear some whispers and looked at each other. They knew it was time to tell them all they couldn't hide it anymore. Jesse cleared his throat as his palms were getting sweaty. he was feeling sick ot his stomoack like he was sitting exams. He looked next to him where Pauline was standing. She was way more relaxed than him and he couldn't understand why.

She still had that smile full of promises on her lips which always gave Jesse a rescue hand when he was needing it, like now. Pauline knew him very well now and she could tell he was more nervous than he should be. She looked at him and she knew it was time to start talking. "Jesse and i wanted to tell you." Pauline paused and looked at him. "We are getting married on the end of July." she told all their loved one as Jesse took his hands in hers.

Chapter 28: Welcome To The Party

Jon was holding in his arms PJ while Costas was hοlding Kevin. They were both walking to all over the room with their grandsons like they were their new toy and they wanted to show the other kids. Jesse was looking at them and couldn't help himself but laugh. It's been now five days since PJ and Kevin came to this world and Jesse was feelling the change inside of him.

He could tell that by the way he was now looking at every person he knew. Everything was beautiful to him even spanich, which he hated it since he was a boy. But now he's a man with two little boys and a woman who will give anything just to see her smile.

Pauline walked out of the bathroom and saw Jesse sitting on a chair looking nothing in particular while her father and Jon were spending some time with the boys. She walked closer to him "Jess are you okay?" she told him looking him in the eyes. Jesse looked up at her. In his eyes she couldn't get more beautiful, not by the way she was dressed but by the way she talking, walking, thinking even drinking water. But there she was. Standing in front of him looking him in the eyes with the same fire like she could burn down the whole New York City by just looking at them.

"Yeah, i'm fine." Jesse said and kissed her hand. He stood up as he said "It's time to bring these little guys home." "Yeah, you're right about that." Pauline answered. She walked next to the window. She wanted to take a last look from this view. She looked down and saw about 50 person standing in the entrance.

She was about to say it when Jon's phone rung. Jesse walked next to his father who gave him PJ. "Hello? What? We can leave from an another door. Shit! I'll go there and say a few words so Pauline and Jesse can walk behind me to the car with the boys." Jon was talking with Ethan the headmaster of the privete security.

Fan were all over the building as long as reporters who will never leave until they hear a few words. "Ethan i don't know if they want to talk. Steph didn't say a word neither did Ava. They must leave. Yeah, okay i understand." Jon said and hung up.

"Let me guess. We can't leave because fans and reporters are all over the place and want us to speak to them about being parents?" Jesse looked over at his father holding his son. "Yeah, that's true." Jon answered. "You could say something simple and leave." Costas said. It was the only thing he could thing of.

"We can do that, right Jesse?" Pauline said and turned to face him. "Yes, i think we can." Jesse answered and put gently PJ in his seat. Everything was ready and taken care of so these two little guys can go home. Costas gave Kevin to Pauline and he put him on his seat next to his twin's brothers.

Jon and Costas left the room and they'll wait for them in the car. Pauline walked closer to the bed where her sons were sitting. Jesse put his hand around her waist and kissed her foarhead. Both they looked down to their newest family members. "They are beautiful. Thank you." Jesse told her.

Pauline hold him tight as she kissed him. "They are beautiful just like their father. Thankfully they got your eyes, i just hope to keep them." Pauline told him as they broke the kiss. Jesse looked down to his childern. Two pairs of light blue eyes like his were looking at them. "At least they got your nose." Jesse told her.

"I like your nose." Pauline said and kissed it. "You're the only one to believe that." he looked down at her. "It's the only thing i don't want them to got from me." he added. "Well, let's pray they both got your ass too." Pauline said and laughed.

Jesse pulled to their driveway and parked the car. They both opened their doors and looked back to their twin boys who were sleeping in their car seats. "I'll get them. Take the stuff from the back." Jesse told her as he had already unbelted Kevin. He was still sleeping which was a good thing. Moving on the other side of the car PJ was still sleeping too.

"I'll take them." Pauline spoke up and took in her hands the two baskets with her sleeping sons. She was walking on the sidewalk when she realized how much she had missed home, being at home. Jesse's Harley was still there waiting to be ride. She smiled and looked over to her shoulder at Jesse who was a few feet back holding her suitacase. That moment she felt like she was finally home with the man she loved all those years ago and with what their love had created.

They stopped in front of the door. Jesse unlocked it as he said "Welcome home boys!" The door opened and Pauline with the boys walked in first. Jesse closed the door behind him and he left the suitcase on the floor. As they both walked in towoards the living room the froze as they saw all the people they cared about being there.

A huge blue banner with white letters was saying 'Welcome home boys!' which was been holded by Romeo and Jacob. They all reached to greed the couple and see the boys sleeping. They all shut at the living room for the next hour talking as a family. Melina was mostly talking about the trips she had done so far because of her job. And she finally had made the sushi for Richie who was asking her for years to make it for him.

The boys woke up almost in the same hour, it was their lunch time. After that everybody left to let them rest and get used to having two babies in the house. Melina was staying with them until Jesse is coming back from Oregon. He had the past 5 days off so he can be on the hospital with Pauline. 

After PJ and Kevin ate their lunch it was time to nap. Pauline put them on their cribs that Jesse fixed one month ago. She kissed them in the foarhead and left them sleep. Downstairs Melina was showing Jesse some pictures of Machu Pitsu. Jesse heard footsteps coming from the stairs and raised his head to see her and smiled. 

"They fell asleep?" Melina asked. "Yeah, too easily to be honest." Pauline answered. "You cooked lunch?" Pauline asked melina looking at her with the stink eye. "Don't look at me like that! It's steak with potatoes. We don't have potatoes like these in Tokyo and i know is your favourite." Melina answered back as the three of them walked in the kitchen. 

The table was fixed. "So, what do you think about Red Bank Melo? You didn't have to see that much the previous time." Pauline asked as she took a bite from her steak. "Pretty cool. Richie walked me around. Had a coffee with Romeo and Jacob. A dinner at your parents's." Melina answered. She was really suprised that they all wanted to help her and make her feel like she's a part fo the family. 

"You finally cooked him sushi..." Jesse said. He knew how much Rochie and Melina loved sushi. "Man i don't know how many years he was waiting for that." Pauline answered. Since the day she met him he wanted Melina to cook him some sushi. "True. But i can say he liked it." Melina answered. 

"With Roberto everything alright?" Pauline asked. She has been throught a terrible break up a few months ago. And in the right momment Roberto showed up and changed her life. Were the words Melina told her 3 three months ago on Skype.

Melina rolled her eyes as she heard the question. Pauline saw her and looked at her. "Come on! Don't tell me you're shy of Jesse." Pauline said. "I can leave." Jesse spoke up a little shy to answer. "No, Jesse you can stay. He asked me to live with him in the same house." Melina said after she looked at Jesse.

"That's great!" Pauline answered felling happy for her friend. "You don't want to live with him?" Jesse asked a little shy. It was a girls talk and he didn't really fit in. But he was feeling Melina like his friend too. He had talked with her on Skype many times with or without Pauline.

"I do want that. But we've been dating for only three months. I don't think i'm ready for a huge step like this. I see him everyday at the office. We go on trips together sometimes. But that's okay. I love spending time with him." Melina said while Pauline and Jesse were looking at her.

"I think you should give it a try. I lived with Jesse for only three days the very first time. But i gave him the chance because i love him and i think you should do the same." Pauline spoke up. She knew her better than Jesse. "But this has nothing to do with you and Jesse. You're with him since you're 16." Melina aswered back. "Still, i was young, wild and crazy. But i gave him a chance and see where we are now..." Pauline answered and drunk a sip of her water.

Jesse was between them eatting his lunch. Melina turned and looked at him. She wanted to say his opinion too. It count for both for a friend and for a man. "Jesse what do you think?" Melina finally asked him. Jesse looked at her. "Well, i might don;t know you like Pauline does. But you seem happier the last three months and all the times we talked on Skype. He's a good man and he loves you. And that's good enough for me. So, i think yeah you should live with him." Jesse answered to Pauline's best friend.

The same night after feeding the boys at 11.00 pm everyone was still tiried and go to sleep. Melina was sleeping on the guest room downstair. Pauline was laying on the bed when Jesse walked in the room from the inside bathroom wearing only his boxers. Pauline raised her head and was starring at him. As he was moving towoards her she could see every single muscle. She always loved looking his naked body but now even more. He was on the best shape of his life.

He layied next to her and put his arms around her. "I like that you're home. I missed you." he told her and kissed her. "I missed you too Jesse." she yawned. "I'll go to sleep. I have to feed them at 3.00" she kissed him goodnight and put the covers up. "Goodnight Paul." he kissed her foarhead.

"You got everything? I don't really mind staying for a little longer." Pauline said as she watched Melina putting her suitace in Romeo's car. Jacob was going back to Los Angeles today so was Melina to change for one more time to go back home to Tokyo. They booked the same day and hour to have someone to talk on the trip. It's really boring travelling alone.

"Yeah, i got everything." Melina answered. She hugged her tight. Pauline hugged her back. She gut get used to her being around like the old times. She wished she could stay for a few more days but Pauline knew how hard her work can be. "I'm going to miss you." Pauline said when they broke the hug.

"I'll miss you too." Melina answered as she tried to fight her tears. She always had a thing with saying goodbye to everyone, even her dog when it was time to go to work. "Texted me when you get to LA." Pauline said and turned to Jacob "Both of you!" "Yeah, we will. Come here give me a hug!" Jacob said and walked a few steps to hug Pauline.

"Send me a few pictures of PJ and Kevin, i want to print my favourite and put in my wallet. I have one with Stevie too." Jacob said when they broke the hug. Pauline smiled as she answered. "Sure." "Come on guys, you'll miss the flight!" Romeo yelled from the driver seat. Melina and Jacob gave Pauline a quick hug and kiss goodbye.

Romeo drove away a few seconds later. Pauline was standing there on the side walk waving at them. Once she couldn't see the car anymore she walked back home. Closing the door behind her everything was so quite in the house. The boys were sleeping and Jesse was probably flying back home or he had already landed. She remembered when he was still at the Oregon airport 4 hours when he called her before they were getting on the plane.

He wasn't at his best mood. They had lost from a team which was more worse than them. She wacthed a little of the game yesterday with Melina while they boys were sleeping. She never understood how to play football even though Jesse had explained to her many times. She could tell byt just looking at him from the TV screen he had one of the worse games on his life. They lost many takedowns because he didn't run as fast as he could.

Pauline couldn't understand the rules but she understood how he must had felt. She wished she was there to comfort him or just seat there next to him. She had known over the years that when he's angry or sad just seating there next to him holding his hand means a lot to him.

Without even knowing how she got in the nersury, Pauline was sitting on that rocking chair Richie bought for them. She was watching them sleeping and she could tell that they grow up a little or it was just her imagination. She was looking forwaord to see them growing up and becoming the men she wanted raise, the men they wanted to raise. Of course an another child or maybe two wouldn't hurt anyone. They both always wanted a big family and that's what they'll have.

Jesse opened the door of his house and threw the bag on the floor. Pauline heard that noise and stood up from the rocking chair. Walking down the stairs she saw Jesse's bag but not him. He was always waiting for her on the living room when he was coming back from a game. Suprised but happy that he was back Pauline walked in the kitchen.

There she found Jesse sitting on the table. A bottle of vodka was in the middle of the table. He started that habit 3 years ago when they were eliminated from the NFL for the first in history. And every time something was not going as he wished, vodka was there to help him forget at least from his point of view.

Pauline saw him and sighed. She shoot next to him. He didn't turn to kiss her or look at her. He was just starring out of the window with a glass full of vodka in his hands. "Jesse vodka is not the answer." she broke the silence. Jesse left the glass on the table and looked at her. "And you'll tell me where is the answer?" he answered back angrily. Pauline wasn't expecting that behavior at all. "You just lost a game not the finals!" she said looking at him. "We lost beacuse i couldn't catch a motherfucking ball!" he answered and drunk a long enough sip to empty the glass.

"I understand what you're going throught.." Pauline started but Jesse stopped her and looked her in the eyes. "Don't you ever say that again. You barely understand the rules and you tell me you know how i'm feelling? As i'm not talking about volleyball you'll not talk about football, you understand me?" he raised his voise in the last words.

He was looking so deep in her eyes like he could see her soul. "I just want to make you feel better." while Pauline was talking he refilled the glass and drunk it in no time. "I can do that from my own." he answered. "By drinking vodka?" she asked him. "Why? You have any problem with that too?" his voise was still raised. Pauline took the glass from his hands. "Drinking in done." she told him and stood up.

Jesse stood up too and caught her by the arm with a little more strenght that he should. "Give me my glass back!" he demanded. Pauline looked back at him as she answered. "That's not you Jesse. This will not change the result. So stop acting like a kid and take the responsibilities. End of story!" she yelled now a bit too just to make him listen to her. She was very disappointed watching him drinking. She knew that this will only make things worse. She didn't want that especially now that they started a family together.

She walked away and before she was about to exit the kitchen she turned and said "You didn't even ask if Kevin and PJ are okay." she told that with low voise. She kinds of hurted too. He knew he had a bad time but she was there willing to help him. He had no right to behave like that. Jesse was standing there looking at her climbing the stairs.

The same night Pauline went to be bed early. She didn't talk with him that mush as they should. The alarm clock woke her up. It was the middle night feed time for the boys. Stooding up from the bed she notished that Jesse wasn't on the bed with her. In the back of her mind she knew that he'll be in the kitchen drinking all alone. She didn't want to go there and of course she didn't want to see him drinking again. 

She stopped at the begginng of the stairs and she saw them on the living room. Jesse was only wearing a pair of shorts and he was barefoot. He was holding them in his arms. PJ on the left and Kevin on the right. He was holding them close to his body and Pauline could only see their small heads resting on his shoulders. They were both sleeping and Jesse was walking up and down to the living room low singing for them. As he turned Jesse saw on the top of the stairs Pauline looking at them. 

He smiled, it was the only thing he could do. Pauline walked down the stairs and stopped in front of him. He had that sad look on his face. Not because they lost in the game but because she talked to her like that on the morning. "I'm sorry." he whispered in order not to wake the boys up. "I know." she whispered back. Even it was 3.00 am  his light blue eyes were still shining, like they always did. 

"I love you." he told her and kissed her lightly. 

Chapter 27: I Can Be Your Sugar Daddy

The alarm clock started buzzing at 6.30 am in 23th of October. Jesse opened his eyes and turned it off with his right hand. Pauline was sleeping next to him and she probably didn't hear the alarm. Jesse looked at her and kissed her foarhead. "Hey, babe time to wake up." he whispered and stood up. Seconds later Pauline opened her eyes and saw Jesse drawing the curtains and open the window.

For their suprise the sun was there and wished them good morning and keep the faith because today they'll need it. When Jesse opened the window he turned around and saw that Pauline was awake now. He smiled and walked over to kiss her good morning. "Come on babe. Let me help you get up." he said with voice half awake.

With Jesse's help Pauline walked in the bathroom and he went downstairs to make some coffe for him. Doctor said that before the surgery Pauline must not eat anything, just water. A few minutes later Jesse was drinking coffee when Pauline walked in the kitchen. He watched her walk and couldn't help himself but smile.

"Why are you smiling like that?" she asked him and drunk some fresh water. She must get used to it but it will be the only thing that will drink for the next couple of hours. "Because you're beautiful and i love you." Jesse answered while he never stop smiling. "I love you too." Pauline answered and kissed him.

"I'll go get your suitacase. You took everything?" he asked and stood up from the chair. "Yes, i did. Let's do this thing." "Pauline we're going to be parents we are not going to a war." Jesse said from the entrance of the kitchen. "That's war, Jesse. I hope you're ready for long and sleepless nights." she answered.

"And the Jovi lyrics are here again. Do you really remember all that?" Jesse asked with raised his eyebrows. "Yes, i do. Now, go get the suitacase. I don't want to be late." Pauline ordered him. "Yes, ma'am." Jesse answered and disappeared in the staircase.

Seconds later they were walking outside of the house to take the car. "Who got the Harley?" Pauline asked suprised. None of their neighboors had one. "Don't tell me it's the Millers?" she asked while she was paying a closer look at it. She always loved bikes more than cars, so was Jesse. But none of them had the chance to take a motorbike licience. Well at least that was what Pauline thought.

"It's not the Millers, babe." Jesse started while he put the suitace in the back of his car. "It's the Bongiovis'." Jesse simply answered and closed the door. Pauline turned slowly trying to understand what she just heard. "You bought a Harley- Davidson?" she asked with her eyes wide open.

"I don't buy it. I thought you should have realize it by now." Jesse said and walked closer to her. Pauline was keep starring at the bike but she still has no idea. "Really? Still this bike doesn't remind you of anyting?" Jesse asked again. He made his way on the bike and shut on it. Pauline was looking at him sitting on the bike.

"I know you're Richie's girl but he's your father-in-law Paul." Jesse said from the bike. It took Pauline a couple of seconds and when she realized that this bike was the one that Jon used to film the Miracle video clip she rolled her eyes.

"Oh my God!" she said and her hands covered her mouth. "Is that the bike from Miracle video?" she was sure now it was the very same bike. "Yeah, i saw it in the house and i thought it will be a nice idea to take it. It still working." Jesse said and stood up from the bike. He would love to ride to New York but it wasn't the best time for that.

"I didn't know he bought it. I thought it was only for the video clip." Pauline answered as they both got in the car. It was time to leave now if they wanted to meet their childern. "He bought it after the video. When we'll be back with the boys i'll take you for a ride." he said and looked at her smiling knowing she was dreaming that too.

"You don't have a licience, remember?" Pauline brought him back to reality. "I got it the day of the Awards. Why do you think i was out for all these hours." Jesse and pulled over the car from the driveway. Pauline was thinking about it and now was everything making sense in her mind. "You're right. I can't wait for that ride." she said and smiled.

Pauline was sitting on the bed. Her room was on the top floor and she had a great view to the New York port and the Statue of Liberty. She didn't want to pay so much money for just giving birth but Jesse wanted to best for her and their childern and he didn't care how much money he was spending. Plus, they needed to be protected by the fans, which they have found the clinic somehow and they're waiting outside for some news. 

"You want anything?" Jesse asked and shut next to her. "Like i have so many choises." she answered with sarcasm in her voice. Water was still all she had. He knew she didn't like water so much. "Don't worry. You have steak for dinner." he smiled. "I made sure you'll have your favourite food as a mother." he added seconds later. 

Pauline was looking at him. He was so calm and peacefull while he was talking to her. His eyes were shinning like they always do and the things he told her was making her falling in love with him all over again. She smiled at him and kissed him. "You are very lucky that we are in a hospital." she said with dirty voice. 

"Really?" he asked suprised. "You know my hormonies are not the best guys right now and they are a little naughty." she kissed him again. She was more than nervous that was calming her down a little. Jesse could guess that. He wished he could now how she was feelling right now. He couldn't ask her. All he could do was just sitting there next to next holding her hand. 

Momments later Pauline's family arrived first. Jesse's family followed a few minites later. The rooms was filled with family and the closer friends when the door opened. Two nurses with a wheelchair walked in. "Miss Timson it's time." one of them spoke. 

Okay it's now or never. Pauline thought as the nurses were helping her take a seat on the wheelchair. Her heart was racing as she saw her mother crying next to her father. She start crying to. "Can i come with her?" Jesse asked. He wanted to be there with her, with them. He could see in the way she was looking at him that she was screared. Hell, he was sceared too. He knew it just a surgery and after that they will be parents.

"Yes, you can mr Bongiovi." the other nurse answered to him. Pauline took an another look to everyone who was in the room. From her mother, father and sister to Richie and Ava. They all wished her the best like she was sitting an exam. 

They were passing closed doors. Pauline saw a sing 'Opperasion Room' and an arrow showing right. That's were they turned the foor of them. Pauline looked over and Jesse who was smiling at her. "That was it. You can say goodbye to her." the nurse stopped in front of the surgery room. "Okay." Jesse answered and and shut on the chair. 

He looked at her in the eyes. "I love you." he said and kissed her lips. "I love you too." Jesse added and kissed her belly this time. Pauline smiled. "We love you too, Daddy." she answered. "Not just Daddy, sugar Daddy." he answered and made Pauline laugh. he knew what to say in order to make her relax even for a minute, and he made it. 

Seconds later Jesse was waving at her while she was walked in the surgery room. His phone start buzzing. When he saw the ID he smiled. "Welcome! Are you in the airport?" he asked. "Yeah, i'm still here. Is Pauline okay?" Melina asked worried. "She's a little sceared but i'm sure she'll be fine. I'm coming to pick you up right now." Jesse said as he walking back to her room to take his car keys. "Okay. I'm in the 10th Terminal. See you in a few." Melina asked and hung up the phone. 

Jesse walked in the room. "Is she in?" Zeta asked. "Yeah, just got in." Jesse answered and took his car keys. "Where are you going?" Jon asked suprised. His future wife will give birth to his childern and he will be gone. "I have to go to the airport to pick up Melina. She just landed from Tokyo. Pauline doesn't know about that. Ava are you coming?" Jesse answered and looked at Ava. "I'm in the plan too." Ava answered as she got up. "We won't be late." Jesse said last as they both left the room.

Melina was waiting on the 1oth terminal of the JFK International Airport when a car stopped in front of her. From the driver's seat Jesse got out and from the passenger seat Ava. "Welcome to New York, again." Ava gave her a quick hug first. "Thank you guys for doing this." Melina answered and smiled. "Let me take your suitacase and we can go to the hospital." Jesse said as the both girls helped him take care of Melina's suitacase. 

The ride was longer than they had expected but that gave them some time to talk. They both have talked with Melina on Skype especially after she moved to Tokyo as a tourist agent. Even thought she is half Japanesse it was harder that she ever thougth it will be. 

After a long traffic jam in the New York City they arrived at the clinic. A few black weared men were around the hospital. One of them was walking closer to them "Mr Bongiovi nothing happend since you left. Just a few fans screaming your father's name and asking for some autographs. They left a few minutes ago." "Thank you Ethan. That's Melina, is Pauline's best friend. She'll stay with for a few days. You protect her like she's me, understood?" Jesse said showing Melina who was standing between him and Ava. 

"Yes, sir." Ethan answered and left. Melina was still had that suprised look on her face while they were walking in the clinic. "Don't worry about the security. Is mostly about the fans." Ava told her guessing that this was what she was thinking about. "Just wait until they learn that Pauline gave birth." Jesse said as they walked in the elevator. "Really? That bad?" Melina asked back. "You have no idea..." Ava answered for both of them. 

Meanwhile Pauline was lying down on a cold surgery room. She was wearing that blue robe and a couple of nurses were next to her. From what she could understand everything was normal. the childern's position was right and their heartbeats were strong. She was feelling dizzy but that was normal. She couldn't feel anything from her belly to her toes. 

After a few more minutes the doctor came in. After wearing the gloves he turned to Pauline. "If you can hear me nodd your head." the doctor said. It was very important the mother be in good condition. Pauline nodded her head. She could hear him loud and clear. The doctor smiled. He walked to the other side of the bed where he had a great view to her belly. 

After making sure that both they babies were healthy he looked over at Pauline, who was trying to stay calm, and said "Ready to meet your boys Pauline?" Pauline was looking at him with her eyes wide opened. She heard what he told her and she couldn't wait. She was waiting for 9 months to meet them. In a few hours she will hold them in her arms. That was the last thing she was thinking when she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore, the anesthisia had done its work perfectly.

Outside of the surgery room Jesse was sitting on a chair pounding his right foor. He was always doing that when he was nervous. "Jess relax. Doctor said everytihng is fine." Jon told him. He could understand what he was going throught. He had been in his shoes four times. Jesse looked at his father and shut back on the chair. He knew he was right, being nervous doesn't help at all.

"Why does this taking so long?" Pauline father's said as he was trying so behind the small glass of the 'Surgery Room' door. "Dad it's only been an hour. They'll let us know." Zeta told her father. They were all kind of nervous. These two will be the seconds couple of twins after David's and that made them all nervous. 

The door suddenly opened and a smiling doctor walked out. Nine pairs of eyes turned at that direction after they heard the door opening. Jesse walked in front of him. Looking him in the eyes he asked. "Everyting alright Doc?" The doctor smiled and touched his shoulder. "Congratulations Jesse! Your boys were born a few minutes ago. All the three of them are healthy." 

Jesse couldn't hold his tears anymore, he is a father. "When i can see them?" he asked. "Pauline will be in her room in 30 minutes. We'll bring the boys about in an hour or so." the doctor said and left the brand new father enjoy this feelling. 

When the doctor left Jesse turned to his family. He couldn;t hide anything now. "Congratulations son." his parents hugged him first. Pauline's parents followed. Ava and Richie were next and last but not least Melina. 

Minutes later Jesse was sitting on her room looking at the door hoping it will be opened soon. And it did. A nurse walked Pauline inside the room with a wheelchair. She was still dizzy but she was smiling. Jesse helped the nurse to Pauline on the bed. She gave him some orders like when she must take her pills and try not to move for the first couple of hours. The nurse told Jesse that she'll bring the newborn for a few minutes just to see them. 

Once the nurse was gone Jesse shut on the bed. He took her hand and kissed it. Pauline was looking at him. "I love you." he told her looking her in the eyes. He was meaning it. He had meant it every time he had said it to her. But this time was different. From this day and on they have something or someone else that they both loved more even though they haven't seen them yet. 

"I love you too Jesse." she answered. He moved closer for a kiss which ended in a hug. "Where is my Mum? I want to see her." Pauline said when they broke the hug. "She's downstairs byuing some clothes for the boys. And even she was here she can't get in. We'll see the kids first and then everyone else tommorow or the day after that." Jesse answered. "Okay, that means we have to wait a little." Pauline answered.

"I should text Melina. She told me when i got in my room and relax to text her. She has a week off before she goes to Australia, i think." she said a few seconds later looking to the room but she couldn't spot her phone. "Yeah, about that..." Jesse started. Pauline froze. "Is she okay?" she asked worried. "Yeah, yeah! She's probably drinking coffee and trying to explain to uncle Richie how to make some sushi." Jesse answered and smiled.

Her eyes rolled when he finished the setence. "Oh my god!!! Is she here?" "Yeah, she landed when yout in the surgery room. It was planned weeks ago. She freaked out when i talked with Ethan." Jesse answered. "She's not get used to that." Pauline answered. She couldn't believe what he done for her. "It's been a while since the last time i saw her." "A while? It's 5 years. On your 17th birthday, when i got out of the hospital." he told her, how could he forget that day. 

"5 years it's 5 years. I hope she likes Tokyo." Pauline answered. She wished they could live in the same neighborhood again like they used to. But that will be hard now. Tokyo is far away from New Jersey. 

The door opened and two nurses walked in with two strollers. They stopped next to the bed. Pauline and Jesse shallowed hard in the same time. One nurse took their first son and placed it gently in Pauline's lap. Jesse moved closer to her and so a tiny little human. Tears of hapiness rolled in their both faces. 

He was so small but everything on him were beautiful. His eyes were closed and his tiny hands were closed like a punch. Jesse kissed his son's foarhead. He turned to face the other nurse as she gave him his second son. He was keep starring at him. He looked so small in his big arms. His eyes were closed too. 

Holding his son he looked on his right and saw his future wife holding his son. He smiled knowing that he now knew how hapiness really feels like. "Mr Bongiovi please follow me. You must sigh a few papers for the boys." one of the nurses spoke. "Yeah, sure." Jesse answered and gave back his son to the nurse after kissing his foarhead. 

Jesse was sighing a few papers he was given when all they walked in filled with balloons and presents. Jacob and Romeo arrived the same time. They hugged their brother. "What are you doing here? You should be with the boys." Romeo asked when he saw Jesse holding some papers and a pen. "The boys are with Pauline." he started. "Plus, i must write down their full names and i'm finished." Jesse answered and turned on the last page.

He saw the section 'Full name' and wrote down 'Patrick John Bongiovi' as he said it out loud. They all smiled. Jon when he heard his name smiled, he wouldn't mind if his grandsons didn't have his name. In fact he didn't care at all. Jesse saw his father smiling and he looked up at him smiling too.

Moving to the same section but for his other son Jesse wrote down with capital letters 'Kevin Contantine Bongiovi'. Pauline's father smiled too and looked over at Jon who had done the same thing.
